Nicki Ward's career spans the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, combining executive leadership, governance, policy development and organizational problem solving.

After immigrating to Canada and becoming a citizen, Nicki built a career in science, technology, health and financial services, later serving in senior management, consulting and board leadership roles. This work frequently required collaboration between government, regulatory bodies, businesses and community organizations.

Working across Canada, the United States and Europe provided firsthand experience with different approaches to housing, urban development, public policy and community building.
